No. The 7-day free trial starts the moment you sign up, with the full Growth Department. You only add a card when you choose a plan.
Your department pauses until you pick a plan. Nothing is deleted. It picks up exactly where it stopped. If you'd rather not continue, do nothing and you won't be charged.
Yes, any time, from Settings. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for and you're not charged again.
Each plan includes an amount of AI work each month, shown on its card. If you use all of it, your department pauses new work and Home tells you so. Nothing is lost or deleted. It carries on when the month rolls over, or straight away if you move to a larger plan.
Yes. Changing plan is done from Manage billing on your Billing page.

Growth Credits are the monthly allowance your department spends on writing and images. Each plan includes a set amount; if you run out, a one-off top-up can be added to your balance. A written post, reply or email costs from 1 credit, an image from 2, a landing page from 4 and a blog article from 5. Bigger jobs cost more, and Self-Post counts the writing and the handover separately.
Yes, on every plan. Add GrowthDept to your assistant with one address and sign in once with your GrowthDept account, then ask it what happened or give it a campaign. Reading costs nothing; when it asks GrowthDept to write or plan, that spends Growth Credits at the same rates as in the app. The assistant cannot put anything online itself. The steps are on the Use with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini page.
