We Pay You to Ship Real Products — Not to Prototype Forever
Developer roles at NovaStacks come with competitive operator-level pay, production-grade work from week one, and 11 live products that real customers pay for.
Most UK Developer Jobs Pay You to Attend Meetings, Not to Ship
If your last sprint ended with a deck instead of a deployment, you already know the problem. Most developer roles in the UK reward tenure, ticket volume, and the ability to survive refinement meetings — not the quality of what actually ships. You are producing more value than your pay reflects, and the software you are meant to be building is dying in a Notion doc somewhere. That is not a skills problem. It is a job problem.
At NovaStacks, Pay Reflects What You Actually Ship
NovaStacks is a product studio that builds and operates 11 live SaaS products in-house — GuardFlowApp, FleetFlowApp, CareOps, PayGuard, GrowthDept and more. Every developer here works on production-grade software with real users and real revenue already flowing. Your output is visible the day it goes live, your contribution is measurable, and your pay is set accordingly — for operators who ship, not for seats that show up.
- Production code from your first week — no demos, no prototypes shelved after sign-off
- Competitive pay calibrated to operator-level output, not market averages for warm-body seats
- Live work across SaaS development, mobile app development and AI automation — all on revenue-generating products
- No padded timelines, no billing politics — real delivery, recognised and paid accordingly
- 11 live in-house products as proof: what you build here actually gets used
How it works
We run as a product studio, not a client-services agency. You join a live product team — or rotate across them depending on the role — and you put code into production. There are no six-month discovery phases and no slide-deck reviews that substitute for building. Roles span full-stack development, mobile app development, AI and automation engineering, and product operations. By the end of your first week, your work will already be live — because that is how we operate, and that is what we hire for.
Why NovaStacks — 11 Live Products, Not a Mission Statement
We do not need to describe what we stand for. You can look at what we have shipped. GuardFlowApp runs workforce management for UK security operators. FleetFlowApp manages PCO and private-hire fleets. CareOps handles care agency recruitment commission-free. GrowthDept powers marketing automation for SaaS founders. PayGuard protects payroll operations. These are live, production-grade platforms with paying customers — not wireframes in a pitch deck. We built them because we needed them, and we run them because our team keeps shipping. That is the environment you would be joining. That is what your pay reflects.
Frequently asked questions
How is pay structured — salary, day rate or project-based?
We do not publish salary bands publicly, but pay is set at operator level — meaning it reflects what you ship, not a market average for a seat that attends standups. When you apply, share your current rate or expectations and we will come back to you straight about whether there is a fit. No ghosting, no months-long hiring loops.
Do I need SaaS experience to apply?
Useful, but not a hard requirement. What matters more is evidence you have shipped real software that real people use. Whether that came from an agency, a startup, a contract engagement, or a side project — if you can show us code running in production, we want to talk.
What does day-to-day work actually look like?
You would be on a live product with real users — shipping features, resolving production issues, improving infrastructure, reviewing code. There are no months-long discovery phases here. We move fast, we document what we ship, and we expect the people we work with to do the same. Your day ends with something in production, not something in review.
If You Ship Real Code, You Should Be Paid for It
We are building and running 11 live products and we need operators who want their pay to match their output — not their job title or their years of service. If that is you, apply now. We respond to every application within two working days and we will tell you straight whether there is a fit.
