# GrowthDept

> GrowthDept is an AI marketing department for small business owners. It studies the business, plans campaigns, writes social posts, hosts local pages, checks the website and reads where it shows on Google. It also works inside AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Codex and Claude Code) through one remote MCP server: https://growthdept.app/mcp

GrowthDept is made by ForgeAI Studio Ltd, a UK company (registered in England and Wales, no. 17175307, Oldbury). It works with the assistants named here as a connector the person adds themselves; it is not made or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI or Google.

What the connector can do: read what went out this week, the drafts waiting for the owner's yes, website health, Google positions from the owner's own Search Console, the searches people make, the places the business covers, app store listings, app reviews and what competitor apps changed. It can launch a campaign, ask GrowthDept a question, check the website, find searches, check the app stores, add or suggest places, draft a reply to an app review, take a hosted page down or put it back, and record the owner's yes or no to a draft when the person asks.

What it cannot do: put anything online by itself. What GrowthDept writes goes through the owner's approval settings, which start at asking the owner first. It does not change the owner's own website and it does not promise results or positions on Google.

Sign in: the person signs in with their GrowthDept account and picks the business, or uses a key made under Connections in GrowthDept. Reading costs nothing; writing or planning spends Growth Credits at the app's rates. The connection is included on every plan.
